Rest in the Detail

I am not sure why the world makes us feel so much lately.

Why have the killing fields come into our backyards and also to the world’s distant corners?

Peoples that may not share our language but we still hold in our hearts.

We look to our leaders for guidance and plans.

What do we do?

What do we say?

What will stop this?

I don’t know…so I try and rest in the truth that in every problem, Jesus is the details.

He is the one who guides our hearts and quickens our passions.

He is the prince of our peace.
