I have a couch in my office that faces right at my desk and I think Jesus sits on it a lot and just stares at me.

I know He is there, like a cat that sits quietly and waits.

He is a true gentlemen, He will not force a conversation.  This is more for my sake than for His.  Mostly because I think I know how it would go down already…

Jesus: What are you working on?

Me: Stuff for you…this is a little awkward…

Jesus: Because you haven’t asked my opinion about it yet?

Me: Yeah.

Jesus: So ask me.

Me: What do you think about all this so far?

Jesus: I think you are missing the point again.

Me: Ok.  What is the point?

Jesus: Me.

Me: Well, I wrote your name a few times already in this sermon…

Jesus: There is no point though unless it helps.  How do you actually do this?

Me: What do you mean?

Jesus: Why do you follow me?

Me: I can’t not follow you.  You make it all make sense.  The farther from You I get, the more it all gets fuzzy.

Jesus: So I am shrink?

Me: Honestly a little bit, but You know, it is more than that.  I have seen what You do.

Jesus: And why do you think that I do that?

Me: That’s a tough one.  Because I learn with my hands?

Jesus: …and your heart.

Me: Yeah, and my heart.

Jesus: I can tell you a lot of things.  I have written a lot of things, but if they just go in your mind and stay there, there is no point.

Me: Ok.

Jesus: So where is that part in our sermon?

Me: I guess that is what is missing.

Jesus: You guess?

Me: Okay, it is what is missing.  What do I say about it though?

Jesus: How did you learn about it in the first place?

Me: Because I asked You.

Jesus:  …

Me: Ahh.  I get it.  You are a tricky one haha!

Jesus: Not as tricky as you might think!  Just talk to me about it as you go.  And remember what is true about you.

Me: What do you mean?

Jesus: No matter what happens, I am still rooting for you.

Me: Yeah, but…

Jesus: There is no second part.

“No one can steal Your glory
For it is Yours alone
I stand to sing Your praises
I stand to testify
For I was dead in my sin

But now I rise…”
