Love is a very interesting thing to…well…everybody probably. It is one of those things in life that you cannot simply create. It just grows. You can do lots of things to help it out, but if it is real love, you can never force it. One day you just look back after all the effort and realize that something has crept in and sewn everything together.
It is one of God’s best qualities.
You think you are out on your own, or that your prayers can never get through the ceiling, but you keep trying. You just keep hoping that It is actually real. That God is in fact an actuality, not just a voice you make up when staring out at stars or the chill you get when you see something really beautiful. That He is a He out There, caring about a You down Here. I feel sure somedays and not others. And then I think the problem is not me, it definitely, logically, positively has to be God. If He would just make Himself more available after business hours on Sunday…
But then there are those moments.
Those precious moments where God does not whisper or talk or converse, He thunders. Those moments when He speaks, so bright and intense that it weakens any doubt into drivel and the only response has to be…
Tears.
Singing.
Laughter.
Love.
God, we praise You tonight for what You are. We praise you tonight for the path you chose to lead us on. Help us to always remember that we are children of a King.
